Multi-Fold Aluminium Wheelchair Ramps
Multi-fold ramps are designed for when a longer length of
ramp is required but space is an issue.
A multi-fold ramp means exactly that – a ramp that
will fold along the length and then across it’s width,
resulting in a compact unit that can easily be stored in
the boot of a car. However, with this innovative multi-fold
ramp you have the option of separating the ramp into two
halves along its length to reduce weight and assist transportation.
The ramp folds up like a suitcase and auto-locks during
folding, for simple and secure transportation.

These ramps are fully constructed from aluminium
with a non-slip, high traction surface. The multi-fold wheelchair
ramp comes in a variety of lengths, ranging from 5ft to 10ft,
dependent on the access issue (see guide).
The ramp unfolds to a 30" wide platform that is ideal for
all mobility devices, including both three and four-wheeled scooters.

Guide to size - please read before ordering your wheelchair ramp...
Government guidelines for fixed concrete ramps would
generally use a gradient of 1 in 12 - e.g. a 3" height would
require a 36" ramp length.
However, this is a guideline, and not a legal requirement.
If space permits, this is the ideal guide, but unfortunately,
the height is often too high to allow such a length - particularly
on narrow footpaths etc.
Where only occasional use is required we have found
that with a portable ramp, for powered scooters / electric wheelchairs
(or a manual wheelchair with assistance) a gradient of
1 in 6 is adequate. (eg - a 6" step requires a 36"
ramp).

V.A.T. Exemption
 VAT
will be invoiced as usual on business to business deliveries.
For any order by an individual with a scooter
or wheelchair, where the ramp is for personal use, the ramps can
be supplied without VAT. Make sure that the VAT
Exemption Form* is
completed and signed by the user, and sent to us with the order
requirements. If ordering online, please note that the order will
not be processed until Bentley Fielden Ltd are in receipt of a
completed VAT Exemption Form. When ordering online make sure to
press the "Buy" button in the "VAT Exempt"
column. VAT is still payable on delivery costs.
